Head Coach Jacob Sirna

In his eighth season at Oak Park, Coach Sirna is the head coach of the boy's program.  He is a North Kansas City High School graduate and an alum of Truman State University, where he played soccer for four years.  He earned his M.A. in Education and teaches Social Studies/History at Oak Park, and is currently working toward his Specialist Degree.  Coach Sirna and his wife, Wendy, and their new son, Everett live in Kansas City North. 

Junior Varsity Coach Matthew Kester

Matt is a full time student at Park University, and will be graduating in December ‘08 with a Mathematics degree.  He will then pursue a Masters of Arts in Teaching while hoping to get a teaching job at Oak Park in Math.  Coach Kester was married in June of ’07 and is celebrating the birth of his and his wife’s new baby girl, Payton Elizabeth, on August 21st of 2008.  Matt worked in the special education department at Oak Park for five years, while coaching the boys and girls programs for eight.  He was the JV girls coach for seven years, the C-Team boys for three, and has been the JV boys coach for the past two.  He will now be the Head Girls’ Varsity Coach in the Spring of ’09.  Coach Kester has two dogs, a black lab and a Rhodesian ridgeback, and is married to a cross country coach, hence all the running kids.  He loves to run, lift weights, and spend time with his new family as well as his two daughters, Payton the newborn, and Haylee who is now in second grade. 

C-Team Coach Derek Noll

Coach Noll returns in his third year as Oak Park's C-Team coach. He is a 1999 graduate of the University of Kansas with a Bachelor's Degree in Broadcast Journalism and teaches Communication Arts 1 and 2 at Oak Park High School.  Coach Noll and his wife, Danielle, live in Kansas City.  Incidentally, Coach Noll loves Jolly Ranchers and Hot Tamales!
